About My Work

I make paintings, drawings and ceramics inspired by moments of everyday life. I'm interested in memory, objects and the ordinary. Things we see and use without really thinking about them, and the memories and feelings they can carry.

My work often starts with simple, familiar things: a bottle, a chair, a pair of gloves, something from a journal or a half-remembered moment. I like the strange, playful and imperfect qualities of these everyday objects, and the way they can become something else when they're taken out of their usual context.

Across painting, drawing and ceramics, I'm interested in loose forms, tactile surfaces and the small details that make ordinary things feel significant.
